DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. I came in broken i found God they moved my wife and daughter up here to live in the ministry they took advantage of us accused us of being satanic. Threatened if i did not do what's told my roof would be taken away. Pastor Gerry is not a bad guy, he has bad leaders. I played on the worship team and lived there for 3 years. In my time i was forced to stalk and follow Anthony Price who is Pastor Gerry's ex son in law or else i would be thrown in a hole. I was demanded to pick weeds until midnight at the Brown's personal home. They take away your loved one's psych meds and leave them at AmPm in the middle if the night. Mathew 23 in the new testament gives you a clear picture how this place is ran. Everyone who posted a positive review is still in the ministry and told what to say. They are a CULT! They banish people from the ministry. Everything is all about money. There is always drugs brought in. They have bed bugs, rats, out dated food and illegal living quarters. People are forced to sleep in the goat pens and pig pens. The women at the ranch often are locked in the so called prayer closet. They do not care for your medical needs instead they have you pray on it. I have plenty of witnesses that will confirm all my stated facts. Lastly i was physically pushed by Pastor Erin yesterday 4/12/2017 and verbally assaulted. They went as far as calling my work place to slander my name. Use discernment with this place. Liberty Ranch would be a better fit for your loved ones. Every thing your loved ones tell you about how negatively they are treated believe them. I know as addicts we have lied, but your loved ones bad experiences are true. Please do not put your loved ones through hell on earth. I know this will cause me more problems with U-turn slandering me and following me but the world needs to know. God bless. Please if you have any concerns or have been through hell like i have during your stay please let your voice be heard.

  • Uturn 4 CHRIST is definitely a place of restoration. If you want just that then you can get it here without the distractions of this fallen world. When I came to Uturn I was broken beyond belief and my sinful life was either going to lead me to death or incarceration. I learned I have to face trials and tribulations in the 60 days I was there and that God is faithful through it all. I also learned how to develop a true relationship with Jesus and realized that is all I've ever needed. I'm thankful for Uturn. It was the only place I was able to learn how to die to myself and my ways that lead me to misery, dangerous situations, and most of all.. Spiritual death. Now I am a new creation and I thank God for this ministry. Comfort is not in drugs and alcohol as you already know if your struggling with it.. If your desperate for change and really want it then this is the place.

  • Uturn for Christ was the best place for my recovery. I was addicted to drugs and alcohol from the age of 16-26 with each year escalating to more drinking and harder drugs. I had no peace, only pain that I tried to mask. I got into shooting up heroine or anything I could get my hands on. That was when I quickly lost everything and started looking for help. At that point it was life or death. I found Uturn for Christ where my boyfriend and I decided to go. He went to the Mens ranch and I to the Womens. For two months we learned Gods Word through love and action. We gained discipline and structure which we were severely lacking and we learned how to let God restore our souls. I discovered a healing in what I was searching for but could never find with the drugs. I found that healing through Jesus Christ. Eventually, Pastor Gerry brought Trevor and I together for couples counciling where we were taught how to grow in Gods love together. We got married and served in the ministry for about 3 years. We now put into practice all that we learned and continue to learn to reach out to those who feel they have no hope. There IS hope! Uturn isn't just for those seeking help with drugs and alcohol but its there to reach those who are lost and trying to find their way. My husband and I are grateful for this place and recommend it for those who really want to find what they are looking for. I never knew it was God until I came here. Matthew 6:33 'Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all else shall be added to you'

God placed me at U-Turn EXPOSE and REBUKE this so-called Christian ministry. I will start off by saying that I did not go through the recovery program. My husband Anthony completed 1st & 2nd phase at the Perris location. Neither of us had a stable roof so the ministry allowed my 1 year old daughter & me to move to the ranch with Anthony. I felt this was a blessing to have my family back together however I had no idea that the intentions of the ministry were to use us as free/low cost laborers. The 1st red flag was that they moved us into a tiny, dirty RV on the women's ranch - infested with spiders, dead rats, & mold. We were appreciative to have our family reunited, however these were not proper living conditions for even an animal. During my time living under the ministry I witnessed people on drugs, people with injuries or pregnancies forced into heavy lifting, heavy landscaping, & worst of all verbal abuse & discipline for not obeying their commands. Punishments consist of verbal abuse, essays, & digging 5x5x5 holes (regardless of physical disabilities or weather conditions). They had me work at Calvary Chapel Romoland Christian Academy as a preschool teacher for $50 every 2 weeks & $0 during the summer. They didn't ask if I had experience with children nor did they run a background check. Thankfully I am a mother & not a child molester! They did not compensate for milage on my vehicle & my husband & I were subject to punishment if we did not partake in the work. I worked with some of the ranch girls at the school who also didn't always have experience with children. Some even had anger issues when the 0-5 year olds would be.. well 0-5 years olds. A lot of the girls were afraid to talk, & a lot of them were afraid of simple mistakes like misplacing a child's pacifier because of the harsh ridicule & punishment that would follow. At home, we were threatened to be kicked out because my husband was accused by pastors & others for not having heart for ministry. After a meeting where we practically begged not to be put on the streets, we were moved to a 2nd phase men's home. My husband was allowed to work because they were interested in making "donation" money from him (which if we couldn't biweekly donate we were threatened to be kicked out). There we were exposed to dangerous & improper living conditions including lack of working smoke/carbon monoxide alarms, lack of permits for remodeling (which was left unfinished), men who have criminal records, roaches, bed bugs, & just straight out filth. I was accused at that home of walking around provocatively & tempting the men when I'd dress like any normal person would in 100 degree weather (as a wife & mom I DO NOT expose my breasts and butt as I was accused). We shared a kitchen at that house & I did my best to avoid the men, but it's hard to feed your family when you have to share a kitchen with recovering addicts & ex criminals. From those false accusations, I was forced to write a 6500 word essay basically about being a temptress & a disgrace to God. I didn't have to accept punishment because I was never an enrollee, but I did so because I didn't want our roof jeopordized. Although that was my only direct experience, it was still tough to see how my husband would constantly be used, overworked, under appreciated, & verbally & mentally abused. Anyone who tries to leave are told they will fail & are brainwashed that God only exists at U-Turn so they can stay & be used as personal free labor for the pastors personal cars, homes, & anything else they can think of. When we left, my husband was stalked and harassed at work by U-Turn to the point of us having to involve law enforcement. It was God alone that saved my husband from his addiction. He just happened to be at U-Turn when God decided to free him. I give no thanks or credit to U-Turn for his recovery & I strongly urge anyone who needs help NOT TO GO THERE! Good reviews were posted by family members or (ex)leadership. Do not take the negative reviews lightly! You have been warned! God Bless!
